Thousands were left beneath wreckage, their fate precarious. The scale of the disaster was unprecedented, leaving survivors to face a future forever changed.
Rescue teams sprang into action, struggling against time and hazardous conditions to rescue those still missing. The nations watched in horror as the full magnitude of the disaster became apparent, offering prayers to the afflicted population.
Worst Day Ever
It all started with a terrible case of terrible hair. I couldn't figure it to look presentable. As I was dashing out the door, I trippedon and landed all over myself. To make matters worse, I was completely behind schedule for school.

The rest of the day was an absolute nightmare. seemed to conspire against me. I stay awake.
By the time I got home, I was utterly defeated. This day, this atrocious day will be forever remembered as the worst day ever.

It all started out badly with a simple mishap/incident/screw-up. But then things went from bad to absolutely terrible. A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to throw your hands up.
